Damascus Help plans to have a walk in the park to raise money forChurch World Service and its international humanitarian projects and forDamascus Help. We’ve been doing this annually for the last 52 years.Date is Sunday, October 2nd.Registration starts at 1:30pm and the walk at 2pm.Damascus Regional Park23723 Kings Valley Road is the site to start and the walk continues into Magruder Branch Park that’s attached to it. It’s about 3.6 miles total. Get someone to sponsor your walk and gather your family, friends, neighbors, fellow congregants, etc. to come with you. Each person garners donations for a good cause. Fellowship gathering after the walk at the starting place (first picnic shelter off the parking lot with entrance at the Red Flame sculpture).
